Hi, I am Marija (muh-REE-yuh). Thank you for visiting my page!

About

I am a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Colorado Boulder, affiliated with the Department of Electrical, Computer, and Energy Engineering (Power Electronics & Renewable Energy Systems) and Renewable and Sustainable Energy Institute (RASEI), where I work under the supervision of Prof. Bri-Mathias Hodge. Since 2019, I have also been a visiting scholar at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL). I received my B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computing from the University of Belgrade, Serbia, in 2016 and 2017, respectively. My research interests lie primarily in mathematical modeling and machine learning with applications in power systems. I am also passionate about teaching.

I will be on the job market in the late fall of 2023. If you have a career or research opportunity that you would like to share with me or if you want to know more about my background, feel free to reach me at marija [dot] markovic [at] colorado [dot] edu.
